The Painted Bubble Matcha Pourer is Altar’s matcha bowl with clementines or tomatoes painted on by hand. The shape is the same as the solid Bubble Matcha Pourer: wide enough to whisk easily, with tall sides that help contain splashes and a spout for pouring straight into a cup. It holds about 16 fl oz.
Between matcha sessions it works as a kitchen pourer for whisked eggs, sauces or cream. Each one is painted individually over a cream glaze, so no two are exactly alike; size, shape and glaze also vary slightly, as with all handmade work.
