Tall Painted Oil Pourer

The Tall Painted Oil Pourer is the taller of Altar’s hand-painted olive oil bottles, decorated with tomatoes or clementines and about 10 inches tall with its spout: a bright piece to keep out on the counter. It holds about 16 fl oz of olive oil, vinegar or a favorite sauce, with dimples in the sides for grip and a stainless steel spout for an easy-to-control pour.

The stoneware is opaque, so it blocks light from the oil inside. Keep it away from stovetop heat and direct sunlight; the olive oil storage guide explains why.

It comes with a stainless steel gravity-fed pour spout in black or gold (add your choice in the order notes, or it ships with the spout shown). Each bottle is painted individually over a cream glaze, so no two are exactly alike; size, shape and glaze also vary slightly, as with all handmade work.
