Each Altar Ceramics piece is made by hand in Nevada City, California. Here’s what to expect when ordering and how to get in touch if something isn’t right.
Shipping destinations and costs
Altar ships to all 50 US states and to Canada. Shipping within the US is typically $12 for the first piece and $4 for each additional piece. Shipping to Canada is $25 for the first piece and $5 for each additional piece. These may change at any time, without notice, if carriers increase their rates. Your exact shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay. Orders to Canada may be charged import taxes or duties on delivery, which are paid by the recipient.When your order ships
Most pieces are made to order and are ready to ship in approximately 2–4 weeks. Pieces already in stock usually ship within 3 business days. These are preparation times. Delivery time is additional and varies by destination and shipping service. If you need your order for a particular date, contact info@altarceramics.com before ordering to check availability and timing.Damaged or defective items
If your pottery arrives damaged or defective, please contact info@altarceramics.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the problem and photos of the piece and its packaging, so Altar can help arrange the return.
Returns are accepted only for damaged or defective items. Altar covers return shipping for these items, and there is no restocking fee. A full refund will be issued once the returned item has been received and inspected.
